課程概述

This course provides a thorough introduction of the theoretical framework and the basic methodological concerns of developmental psychology. Different areas of research in developmental psychology will also be introduced with in-depth discussion. 

課程目標
To give graduate students a thorough overview of the history as well as the cutting-edge trend in developmental science. 
課程要求
Ten weekly written reports.

Each report could either be a theoretical or methodological critique of one of the assigned article or a refreshing new idea inspired by one or more of the assigned articles.

A pure summary or English-Chinese translation from the content of the assigned article(s) will not be accepted.

10 weekly written reports 
80% 
Students are required to hand-in at least 10 reports throughout the semester. The grade of a report with only Chinese translation of the assigned articles is worth no more than C+ (B- = 70~72). The final grade of the semester for the weekly written report is calculated from the best 10 reports you have handed in. The total score is then multiplied by 80%.
